We recently set up a scaffold shot blasting and re-painting/refurbishment department at our Enniscorthy base. Which mechanically test standards & visually inspect all components to insure they are safe to use.

The scaffold is then shot blasted with a semi-automatic Pangbourne shot blasting machine and then visually inspected for a second time before being painted in your own corporate colour.

The process involves 3 stages, first priority is to expose any damage by blast cleaning the scaffold. This ensures that all defects or damage is quickly identified. The blast cleaning process is then conducted and erodes all surface paint & debris. It is a fast & high-powered process.

Once this is completed the scaffold is then inspected for defects, damage or rust and rot. Following this the scaffold components are then painted by a dipped procedure using a durable protective paint.

There are many benefits of using the refurbishment method. The scaffold is completely renewed, whilst improving the quality & aesthetics of the components thoroughly. Most importantly, the Matt finish helps protect & provides durability against harsh weather conditions & working environments.

KDK caters for large or small orders. There is a short turnaround on orders, while a collection and delivery service can also be arranged nationwide. KDK Scaffolding are also accredited with BM Trada Certification for scaffold board inspection and are accredited with EcoMerit.
